I bought this glove for my 9 year old over a year ago. It took a while to break in since the leather is very good quality. It now works great. The pocket holds its shape well but is still not too flimsy. My son is average to below average in height so I would guess that he would be able to use this gove until he is 12. I will never buy a "cheap" glove again from the big box stores.
