Product Review

"Aint that a Dazzy?" A replica of the Ken-Wel Pro 560 used by Brooklyn's Dazzy Vance, this glove was one fo the most innovative designs of the 1920's and is considered to be the first modern glove. The innovations on the glove, such as laced-together fingers and welting (the stitching up the middle of each finger stall) are still used on all of today's baseball gloves, despite most players and manufacturers from the 1920's saying that it would inhibit play. Display this in you sports collection or on your office desk. Comes with a letter of authenticity.

Glove is awesome. Very soft leather, needs little to no break in. For that reason, as well as having to catch the ball with your palm vs web, make it more difficult to use regularly. That being said, I am a fan of the old game, and I do plan to take it to the games as a reminder of of the golden days of baseball.
