Good idea, poorly constructed,

Bought this in 2008. Almost immediately the
legs became detached from the body of the product.
In order to make it "pop up" I guess they had to make it
easy to take apart too, but it falls apart by itself.
Then one of the parts just fell off and was lost,
so had to figure out a creative way to put it back together.
This all happened right away after purchase.
With my home made fix, my son used it for a year.
Then after a year the netting started to wear out
from the weather. This is not weatherproof and must
be kept indoors when not in use. I kept it indoors
in winter, out of the snow, but it stayed in the rain
during spring/summer and this ruined it in 1 year.
As I like the concept, am going to try the
Easton Strike Zone - Junior Size (EA)
or Easton Junior Pitcher's Target Combo
but hoping this will be more sturdy (wont fall apart
immediately) and will leave it indoors more...Read more

I purchased this item for my 8 year old who wants to practice pitching. The net keeps falling over. So far, I am not to happy.
