Mizuno GMVP1250 12.5" Glove

Comment: I got this to replace a Mizuno baseball glove I used from 1996 to 2006. I never knew my glove needed replacing because after using this, it is near impossible to go back to my used glove. I say that because there is no more cushion in my old glove, which I never noticed until after using this new MVP glove from Mizuno. Line drives have never been easier to catch, as there is no sting, even from catches that hit directly the palm.

I went with the 12.5" because I usually play second base in softball. If you are an utility player that also plays rover or outfield, I'd recommend a 13" glove, which I also own. If you are strictly outfield, the largest glove may be best at 14".

This glove may cost more than competitor's models and even Mizuno's lower end models, but you the benefits outweight the costs since you may spend the whole season trying to break in the glove with conditioning oil, shaving cream, sleeping on it, etc. This glove is in game ready condition from the time of purchase. Every one on my team like the feel and quality of the glove, and some even purchased their own. Because of that, I had to write my name on the glove so it wouldn't get mistaken with the same gloves as my teammates.

Since I go to Padres games often, the 12.5" glove is a good glove to bring to catch any souvenir foul or homerun balls.
