So many gloves get that 'warped' look to them, or even harden, but this glove maintains its texture and integrity for years, if not forever. Sure, a lot of wear and tear is normal, but Mizuno mitts last the longest for me. So make that whale of a play at third base, dive for that liner to left, cleanly-field that bouncing ball to second, or scoop up that almost wild pitch with their catcher's mitts. Mizuno is a gold glove, indeed. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Mizuno MVP Prime GMVP1276P Baseball Fielder's Mitt (12.75-Inch) (Sports) When I first received this glove, I thought I'd be trying to brake in a rock. When I first tried it on, I knew from that moment that I would love it. It came almost broken in. That night I got a ball, wrapped it in my glove, and tied a shoelace around it. I used it the next week in practice and I am very happy I chose this glove. It is a great replacement for my old glove and this is my 3rd glove total. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Mizuno MVP Prime GMVP1276P Baseball Fielder's Mitt (12.75-Inch) (Sports) Ordered this for my 12 year old son. He is a lefty which often makes it difficult to find a good quality glove in local sporting goods stores/chains. We gave ordering from Amazon a try, and happy to report he's not disappointed. This glove is beautiful! After playing first base for one game, it's already broken in. (Please note, he did not play first base with this in his A-league team--I would not advise doing that with anything other than a first-base glove--this was a less-advanced league so he did not need the extra padding of his first-base glove) He's going to condition it with a little oil, but otherwise, it will be the perfect glove for him to use when he pitches. It's listed as a 12.75, but it's not overly big or bulky. We highly recommend this glove! |
