This review is from: Franklin Sports Industry Mlb Glove Condition Oil 1565 P Baseball Accessories (Misc.) for what it is intended to do. It says that it is "Glove Condition Oil" and that is what it does. It will not magically break in a glove for you, but it will assist with the process. It is also not that messy if you are careful with the bottle. A few drops in the palm of the glove after wiping the glove down with a damp cloth worked well for me. I then put several drops in my hand and applied that to the rest of the glove. Secure the glove with a a ball in the pocket and a couple of rubber-bands around outside and leave overnight. Next day results were noticeable and the glove was much more limber. Do this several times through the break-in of the glove for maximum results. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Franklin Sports Industry Mlb Glove Condition Oil 1565 P Baseball Accessories (Misc.) I used this to oil my (3) gloves, and although it comes out quick and can get a little messy, it does a good job of softening your glove to get a 'break in' turned quickly. I recommend using it. It also makes for a good duster, after/while playing on a dusty dry field, alittle dab in your pocket gives you good grip when fielding the ball (i.e. less bobbles) and gives you more outs! Now, go get your glove and oil on! 0 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Patrick O'Neill "Neil" (Rhode Island, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Franklin Sports Industry Mlb Glove Condition Oil 1565 P Baseball Accessories (Misc.) I used over half the bottle on my Mizuno glove, let it sit overnight, and when I used it the next day, I found that it was much softer, but still not broken in. Maybe I should have let it sit longer but on the other hand I've had gloves that brake in the moment the oil is used on them. Also it was not fun dealing with the liquid oil that got all over my clothes and made a mess in my lawn. I'd suggest a spray on oil instead of this. |
