Product Review

32" Catchers Mitt. A true baseball leather for true baseball players. PRO-LINE's Sandstone leather was introduced to retail last year to much success. This year - we've made it better. By combining Buckskin (richly oiled leather) to the rigid sandstone (Pro-Line) leather we have given this series the best of everything. Lined with buckskin, this glove feels great right from the shelf; coupled with the sandstone leather the shape and rigidity baseball players demand. A true baseball glove at it's finest!

This is my second Nokona glove. The first glove is a Nokona Walnut leather 13" softball glove that I bought two years ago that I am extremely happy with. I was debating between the proline and walnut leather mitts. I opted for the proline because it was only $10-15 more than the walnut. I upgraded from a cheap $60-75 easton mitt that I used last season.

First off, I am extremely pleased with the high quality of the mitt. It has a better feel than a HoH or All-Star mitts in the same price range. Here are some things that I really like about the glove.

1) The sandstone leather is very stiff as expected, I love how it deflects baseballs to the pocket. I broke in my other Nokona glove with lots and lots of catch. There is no quick fix method of...Read more
