I got this for my big 9 year old who is playing Little League (9-11 age group) and rotating through positions. We wanted a utility glove with a solid leather feel that was made for a kid's hand. I bought this glove for my 8 year old brother. he loves it because of the padding in the palm and it breaks in pretty fast after plenty of catch. The only downfall is the laces were off white when I thought they where going to be bright white. i probably wouldnt recommend this for high school. i dont think the laces could handle much velocity over the season without replacing some laces. However, it is perfect for kids ages 8-13 or so
