Rawlings Pro Lite Series Basket Web Fielder's Baseball Glove (12.5-Inch)

I bought this glove and received it just the day before my game. The glove adjusted to my hand perfectly and was ready to use; no need to be softening it before the game. Definately it was a great purchase and at a very decent price!!

This glove is fantastic! It broke in easy and is a real pleasure to play with!!! I bought TWO!

To be fair, this review is going to contain some negative comments, but as full disclosure, I only paid $16 for this glove, and it is acceptable at that price, but that was also a sale, and heavily discounted. Paying MSRP would be a mistake. Let me explain why.

The glove is not all leather (only the palm of it is leather, apparently, judging from the imprint which reads "Leather Palm".) The implication is that the palm is leather and nothing else is. Frankly the entire thing feels a bit rubbery, like a leather imitation. When you put the glove on, there is a somewhat rapid sensation of being hot and sweaty, like you had put your hand into a plastic baggie, or a latex exam glove.

There is no visual difference between the palm and any other part of the glove, if you get close and look at the "texture", to my eye it appears to all be the same stuff. So I don't know what the story is on the material, but its not the kind of thing you expect a glove, no matter...Read more
