We bought this mitt for my 9 year-old son for a much higher price of $20. He plays on two different teams each season and has gotten less than one season from this mitt. The mitt has torn on the stitching from the pocket of the mitt running up the thumb, one on the outside pinkie from swooping the ball up on grounders, one on the outside were the mesh/net meets with the glove, one dead center in the pocket, & finally one in the lacing between the third & fourth fingers of the glove. He doesn't even wear this glove for the whole game as he catches for most innings. I thought that maybe he got a bum glove but another team member has the same glove and it the same pocket tear along the stitching. Shame is he really loves the glove it just didn't hold up. We are off today to buy another glove to finish playoffs and a travel tournament.
