excellent product. got it for about $22 but it paid for itself the first week. so far, i've fixed about six gloves total, plus my kids are happy to color coordinate their glove with their uniforms! (i had to buy colored glove lace separately).

The kit tools work well at threading the leather strings. The amount of leather provided with the kit though, is not enough to string an entire glove.

This is a great little kit for on the go. I've used this kit about eight times now and it has been a life saver in two situations. I've re-laced my catcher's mitt, a couple of my high school softball player's outfielder gloves, and two emergency re-lacing jobs for a college baseball tournament. This kit includes everything you really need to re-lace one entire glove one time. However, the lacing is two different colors so, if you use this kit expecting to re-lace your glove without other lacing, then you'll have a odd looking glove afterwards. The kit comes with everything you need to get started: two lacing tools, one leather awl, three lengths of rawhide leather lacing, leather oil, leather cutters, a brush (not sure what for), and a cloth hand mitt (again, not sure why).
