i have an 11 year old softball player. got the glove for her this winter and by spring is was ready. did not take much to break it in. fits her hand as well as my hand easily. the glove is easy for her to manipulate and very rarely misses a ball that hits it. i recommend this glove very highly.

I bought this for my (13 year old now) daughter 2 seasons ago. She plays pitcher, SS, and 3rd base. This 12' glove is not too big for an infielder and will swallow a 12" ball. The size feels to be a 12" glove. It broke it in fairly quickly and the leather and laces are top notch. One problem I have with finding my daughter a glove is that she has very very small hands and needs the wrist strap on any glove. Without a wrist strap gloves will fall off of her hand at 5" 90 lbs. This glove is great for a female player with very small hands. It's big enough for a dad to get his hand in to break it in and small enough to accommodate a very small female hand. This was my daughters 1st real LEATHER glove and she complained about the weight so we didn't use it for a year. During the off season I had her use it and now the weight is not a factor.
