Comment: The Wilson A440 series gloves are all made of soft game-ready leather that requires basically no break-in. In general, they are comfortable to use and catch balls easily. The price is also as low as they come, unless you're willing to use a cheap vinyl glove. Many of the players on my college intramural mens' slow-pitch softball team use these gloves with great satisfaction.
My quibble with this particular size, though, is -- well, its size. I also own a 12 inch version of the A440, which is cavernous, maybe a bit too much so for an infielder. So I thought the 11.5 inch version would be marginally smaller. I was wrong; not only are the finger stalls MUCH smaller (crafted specifically for the "female athlete" as it says in the description), but there are only three of them! You are therefore forced to stuff your ring finger and pinky into the same slot. That's really a shame, because the glove is very nice, especially for recreational play, since it's so soft.
So unless your fingers are quite slender, I'd probably get a different glove. My feeling is that most other 11.5 inch gloves fit much larger hands than this one.

Comment: Well first of all my dad got me this glove because I joined a sports camp at my school when I was in 3rd grade. Now I just want you people to believe me that I never knew this was a softball glove until 2 years later when I noticed it said fast pitch. Hmmmmmmmmmmm I know what fast pitch is, it's ... A fastpitch softball glove!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe I never noticed that for 2 full years because then a year later after my dad got this for me, I joined a real baseball league where we can wear uniforms. Then when summer vacation came, I signed up for the YMCA baseball league and I still didn't know. One thing I like about this glove is that it is easy for me to move my fingers to close and open the glove when I catch a ball. Well since I know now, I'll use this glove for my next baseball season and will be easy to scoop up balls and catch high pop flies. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
